If you are in search of the perfect church for your wedding in Greece, we have the perfect article for you! We recommend three beautiful chapels that will make your fairy-tale wedding day stylish and romantic. These lovely venues are near the centre of Athens and the airport. With their magical atmosphere and romantic vibe, these churches are perfect for creating a moment you’ll never forget! Saint Alexandros in Vravrona In the lush bay of Vravrona, there was a deserted island that businessmen wanted to exploit commercially by building a casino. The locals reacted and took drastic measures. They hastily built the chapel of Saint Alexandros and a small windmill on top, giving a Cycladic touch to the landscape. Note: There is a law in Greece that forbids demolishing churches and chapels so this was the smartest legal way for the locals to ensure the island remains untouched. Today, the islet is a magical destination that can only be explored by boat. And what could be more special than a decorated boat that transports the bride to this idyllic place? The romantic atmosphere of the island becomes the perfect space for a unique wedding reception. An experience that will remain unforgettable for the couple and their guests.
